Welcome to my livejournal! I haven't had a proper bio for ages so I thought I'd do one now but there's not much to tell.

I'm twenty-eight, female and married to the loveliest bloke in the world. I work as a credit risk analyst for a small French bank you've probably never heard of. I live on the outskirts of London. My life is generally pretty drama free.

I have lots of hobbies and don't give as much time to any of them as I would like. I read a lot and collect antiquarian books (mostly poetry), write occasionally and not well, go geocaching or just for nice long walks in the countryside, with the rest of my time being taken up by fangirling a wide variety of things.

Stuff what I like:

Eric Bana- It's mostly habit now I think, but I've loved fangirling Eric Bana for what seems like forever. He's got nice hair and eyes, and a sexy Melbourne accent. Foxiest Hector ever.

War poetry- Siegfried Sassoon, Wilfred Owen, Robert Graves, Rupert Brooke: these people are major obsessions of mine. I find their lives and work really interesting and a lot of my antiquarian book collecting revolves around them.

Other poets- I'll read pretty much any poetry to be honest and so other favourites tend to come and go. A lot of the time I like the poet better than I like the poetry.

Other actor types- I rarely watch a movie because I think I'll like it, mostly I'll watch because it has someone in I fancy. Besides Eric Bana I like Orlando Bloom, Ben Barnes, and Joe Manganiello (not that I've ever watched him in anything haha but I keep seeing him on ONTD and he is quite yummy looking). When I'm in charge of cinema they'll all be in an epic swords and sandals style blue movie together.

Other stuff what I like:

South Park- the greatest show ever made.
Sebastian Faulks- My favourite living writer.
Desert Island Discs- I have elaborate fantasies about appearing on it.
Doctor Who- What can I say, I'm British.
Gabrielle Union- My flawless goddess. When you open the dictionary to the word gorgeous it has just got her picture there.
Andrej Pejic- Beautiful human being.
Bill Kaulitz- As above. If I could look like anyone it would be Bill Kaulitz.
Pie- Apple pie, cherry pie, steak and ale pie, pizza pie, Magpies... I'm all over any kind of pie to be honest.
Charbonnel et Walker- Champagne truffles to die for.
Epic Meal Time- It appeals to my taste for the absurd, plus I'm very greedy.
Jeeves & Wooster- I'm mildly obsessed by the aristocracy of the twenties and thirties and Bertie is hilarious.
The homosexual school boys from Glee- It's so cute when they hold hands OMG.
The moral and economic left- Down with the ConDem coalition and the Daily Mail and all that. Seriously though, Nick Clegg is first against the wall when the revolution comes. Just kidding... or am I haha? No really I am, but when I get around to it I will be writing a strongly worded letter.
